Immediately prior to going out of service, 4012 took part in a battle-damage repair exercise
on 17th November 1993 at St Stephan, carried out by the Reparatur Zug (repair team) of FlKp18.
The process of this K-Rep (Battle Repair) exercise involved a small explosive charge
which damaged the control linkages at the base of the fin.
After the repair the aircraft was flown to Interlaken, and struck off charge.
