XF436/J-4115

XF436, 'U' of 8qn RAF, at Khormaksar, Aden, Yemen, 1962. Her starboard wing has just been replaced after
sustaining damage when a drop tank sheared away in flight, and she is awaiting an air test.
The aircraft was later part of 1417 Fighter Reconnaissance Flight.

Below: XF436 also at Khormaksar, 1961.
The FRMk10 Hunters had one forward-facing and two side-facing cameras in a redesigned nose cone,
as well as other modifications to suit their low-level reconnaissance role.

XF436 would become J-4115 in 1972
